Parker gives Bordeaux a Double Boost
Über US wine critic Robert Parker announced this month that he was handing over the reviews of Californian wine to a member of his team, leaving him to concentrate on Bordeaux and the Rhône. Widely rumoured to be a sign of semi-retirement, further investigation shows that nothing could be wider of the mark.

Little did we know that a Scholarship winner from Michel Roux’s ‘Service’ on BBC2 would soon be serving up our wine at the Hotel du Vin. The wine star of the show was Ronan Sayburn, Master Sommelier and Director of Wines and Spirit at HdV, and here he shows what to look for in a white wine. Using Bauduc, of course.
